How do I get structural
warranty coverage on my new home?
Structural warranties are provided by builders as part
of their risk management program. If your current
builder does not offer a 10-year structural warranty
from StrucSure, ask them to! We work directly with
builders on coverage and associated fees (either a flat
rate or a percentage of the home's value). The
fees are rolled into the home's total price (so you
don't need to have the money up front).

What is covered under my
10-year warranty and when does coverage begin?
Our 10-year warranty begins on the day you close on your
home and covers a number of structural components.
For a list or covered items and additional information,
please visit our "What is a
Structural Warranty?" page.

What is "third party
arbitration" and why is it a part of my structural
coverage?
Third-party arbitration is included as part of
your coverage in the event a disagreement occurs between you
and your builder. Arbitration is an out-of-court
settlement procedure in which both parties present their
case to an unaffiliated arbitrator and agree to abide by
their decision. This process helps to resolve
disagreements quickly and fairly without having both
parties waste time and incur exorbitant court costs.

What do I do if I have a structural issue or claim?
If you have a workmanship claim during the first year or
a claim with the delivery portion of systems in the
first or second year, you should first contact your builder. If
your builder is unable or unwilling to respond or fix
the issue,
you should file a Notice of Complaint form (found
in your Warranty Coverage Booklet or on our
forms page). Structural
claims should be submitted directly to StrucSure Home
Warranty using a Notice of Claim form (found in the
Warranty Coverage Booklet or on our
forms page). Y

I'm moving soon; how does the
warranty transfer?
Another major benefit of having a structural home
warranty from StrucSure is that your warranty is
completely transferable to a new homeowner if you
decide to move within the 10-year coverage period.
This transfer occurs automatically and requires no fees
or paperwork.
This provides you with a valuable asset and marketing
tool if you ever decide to sell your home within the
10-year coverage term.
